About NFiP
The Petroleum research school (NFiP) is an interdisciplinary collaboration between UiO, UiB, NTNU, UiS, UiT and UNIS with the aim to coordinate education for PhD and Master students. NFiP has since 2010, through these universities, coordinated lectures, intensive courses, seminars and conferences for all PhD students in Norway with research projects related to petroleum. In addition, the NFiP Short Term Exchange Program (STEP) has provided financial support for students to spend research time in counterpart countries to promote international research collaborations.
Who are we looking for?
NFiP is now looking for a PhD student to join the NFiP board to increase the representation of PhD students in the board. As a member of the board your responsibilities are to participate in board activities, mainly focusing on discussing the activities that have been, are, and will be carried out, provide recommendations and/or improvements for future activities. This provides an opportunity for the PhD student board member to take direct part in the decision making process of the NFiP.
The applicant should be a highly motivated PhD student graduating in petroleum related scientific disciplines. The applicant must be a PhD student enrolled at a university affiliated with NFiP, i.e. NTNU, UiB, UiO, UiS, UiT or UNIS, and preferably not in the final year of his/her degree.
